Application Deadlines
The online application opens on the first day of each stated deadline and cannot be started in advance. The application closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the last day of each stated deadline.

Admission Decision Dates
The Office of Predegree Advising & Admissions (OPA&A) communicates with students about the status of their applications through the Harvard Extension School application portal. To access it and view the current status of an application, go to the Application Status & Decision tab within the Application for Admission section of the Predegree Advising & Admissions page in MyDCE.
We encourage you to check your email and portal regularly for notifications related to your application.
The dates below are approximate business days and based on the Harvard Extension School academic calendar and the Harvard Summer School academic calendar.

While Awaiting Your Admission Decision
We encourage you to move forward with registering for degree program courses while your application is under review.
You’ll receive your admission decision with enough time to adjust your schedule or drop courses for a refund, if needed.
