Michael Fabiano Appointed to Harvard Extension Journalism Board

The Journalism Program at Harvard Extension School announces the appointment of Michael F. Fabiano to the program’s Board. The school’s Journalism Program offers master’s degrees for those looking to develop the skills necessary for successful careers in the field. The Journalism program’s Board provides guidance to the administration on industry dynamics, direction on shifting industry skill demands, and critical trends that inform course offerings and degree requirements. The board serves as the primary information source between the degree offerings and the skills required in the journalism field.

Fabiano will join several other industry leaders currently sitting on the board. The current members of the board are:

Michael Fabiano is the Vice President & General Manager, Americas Media at The Associated Press. He oversees the content licensing business, productions and creative partnerships for all business in the Western Hemisphere. Michael previously served as VP of Business Development at NBC. Michael holds a Master of Liberal Arts in Journalism from Harvard Extension School (2016), a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University (2007), a BE in Mechanical Engineering, and a BA in English and American Literature from Stevens Institute of Technology (1993). Michael is also serving a two year term as the current President of the Harvard Extension Alumni Association.
