In his role as Associate Professor of Practice, Thomas Murphy teaches and consults in the area of sustainability marketing and branding. He advises global and national companies on developing the best purpose and strategies to create and launch sustainable brands. He then incorporates what he learns in these engagements in his branding and sustainable marketing courses at Harvard. Each semester, Murphy engages students in surveys and projects sponsored by global brands. Recent sponsors have included a global outdoor fashion brand, two leading global athletic footwear brands, and one of the top-three consumer packaged goods companies.
