Steven Raymond Boomhower, PhD

Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health
Dr. Steven Boomhower received his PhD in cognitive and behavioral sciences at Auburn University. His research focuses on how exposure to drugs and heavy metals during sensitive periods of development alter the brain and behavior later in life. Boomhower is currently a National Institute of Health funded postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, where he studies the cellular and molecular mechanisms of metal exposure in neural stem cells.
