Shannon Pettiford, MS

Shannon Pettiford, PMP, MS, is a seasoned professional with expertise in program and project management, business process improvement, and operations management. His more than fifteen year long career managing global projects and programs is focused on digital marketing, information technology, human resources, and finance initiatives. He is a member of the Project Management Institute and holds the project management professional (PMP) credential. He also holds the certified scrum master (CSM) certification. He obtained his undergraduate degree in computer science from East Tennessee State University and earned his master's degree in project management from Northeastern University, concentrating on program and portfolio management. Pettiford's extensive technical career spanned positions such as software developer, systems analyst, and business analyst. This expertise has enabled him to lead complex global projects for Fortune 500 organizations. He works full-time at Boston Consulting Group as an IT program manager, working on geo-expansions, business acquisitions, IT engagement models, and interlaced finance and human resources programs globally. Pettiford also lectures part-time in the project management graduate program at Northeastern University College of Professional Studies.
