Natalya Shelburne is a software engineer, educator, artist, and speaker. Crossing disciplines is a passion, and she speaks about CSS, design patterns, and closing the gap between design and development at conferences around the world. Shelburne taught design for six years prior to focusing on engineering full time. She is currently a front-end engineer at The New York Times. Shelburne has earned a BA in studio art and a BA in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a MEd in talent development from Texas State University.
