Moshe Hoffman, PhD

Visiting Lecturer on Economics, Harvard University
Moshe Hoffman is a research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab in the human dynamics group and is a lecturer at Harvard University's Department of Economics. Hoffman applies game theory, models of learning and evolution, and experimental methods, to try to decipher the (often subconscious) motives that shape our social behavior, preferences, and ideologies. Hoffman obtained his PhD in economics from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and his BS in economics from the University of Chicago.
