Michael Livingood, MS

Michael Livingood has a wealth of experience working in both the court systems and law enforcement. He has served as a juvenile probation officer at the Pima County Superior Court in Tucson, Arizona, where he frequently supported mental health and drug court programs along with assisting the Pima County Native Youth Collaboration. He worked with various nonprofits in Tucson to address human trafficking in the region. This work resulted in his being invited by the United States Department of Justice, Office of Justice Program to assist in the development of programs for human trafficking victims. Livingood was an intelligence analyst before becoming a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he has investigated a wide range of criminal conduct and sought methods to support crime prevention. He has previously taught at Pima Community College and the University of Arizona on subjects of social welfare, juvenile justice, and mental health.
