Margaret A. Lynch, PhD

Margaret A. Lynch is the associate director of science education in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University. She first started teaching in 1997 and has taught and advised students for over a decade as a full-time lecturer in biology at Tufts University. She is also an experienced science and medical writer who has worked for both companies and nonprofit foundations. Lynch earned a BA in biology from Williams College and a PhD in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Davis, and the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine.
