Lauren Kerby, PhD

Education Specialist, Religious Literacy Project, Harvard Divinity School
Lauren R. Kerby is the education specialist at Harvard Divinity School's Religious Literacy Project and an instructor in the religious studies and education certificate program at Harvard Extension School. She earned her PhD in religious studies from Boston University. Her current book project, Saving History: White Evangelical Identity and Christian Heritage Tours of Washington, D.C., analyzes the way that contemporary white American evangelicals use history as a political resource. She has previously taught writing-intensive religion courses in Boston University's undergraduate writing program and department of religion.
