Katherine R. Hinck, BA
Kaeti Hinck is a 2018-19 Nieman Fellow at Harvard, researching how neuroscience and psychology can inform storytelling, product design, and the broader news ecosystem. Previously, she was an editor at The Washington Post, where she led an interdisciplinary team of visual journalists, developers, and data reporters. Hinck was involved with some of the Post's most ambitious projects, including investigations about unsolved murder, segregation in America, drug industry corruption, and police shootings. Before joining the Post, she worked as Design Director at the Institute for Nonprofit News and has explored the power of multimedia storytelling, visual communication, and technology in newsrooms for more than a decade.
