Joanne Matott, DPhil

Dr. Joanne Matott began teaching at the Harvard Extension School in 2019. Previously, Matott served as a teaching assistant at Harvard College and as core faculty for Mind, Brain, Behavior, and Disease (MBBD) and tutor at Harvard Medical School (HMS). Matott holds a research instructor appointment at HMS and researches mitochondrial dysfunction in aging, sleep deprivation, and neurodegenerative disease. Matott was a first-generation student who originates from London and has made her life in Boston since 2006.
