Jennifer Thum, PhD

Inga Maren Otto Curatorial Fellow, Division of Academic and Public Programs, Harvard Art Museums
Jen Thum is the Inga Maren Otto Curatorial Fellow at the Harvard Art Museums, where she creates learning experiences for Harvard College students with works from across the museums' collections. Before arriving at Harvard, Thum worked in various capacities at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology at Brown University, and the Rhode Island School of Design Museum. Thum holds a BA in anthropology from Barnard College, an MPhil in Egyptology from the University of Oxford, and a PhD in archaeology and the ancient world from Brown University. She is a specialist in the art and archaeology of ancient Egypt.
