Ian Hudson, DBA

Finance Professor, Hult International Business School

Ian Hudson has twenty years of experience in academic and practical finance. He worked in energy trading and wealth management at a Wall Street firm. He has taught finance to over 2,500 students—both undergraduate and graduate.

Hudson is a thought leader in finance appearing on business radio and interviewed in Reuters, US News and World Report and the Boston Business Journal. He has an article forthcoming in the Journal of Behavioural Finance.

His research interests include investment analysis, personal financial planning, currency, equity, and bond trading, and derivatives.

He is a fan of all Boston sports (Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots, Celtics, and the Revolution) as well as the Boston Marathon and the Head of the Charles Regatta. He is also an avid cyclist.

Hudson lives in Boston with his husband Will, son Matt, and dogs Diego and Chloe.
