Houchang E. Chehabi, PhD

Professor of International Relations and History, Boston University

Houchang Chehabi is a professor of international relations and history at Boston University, and has been teaching in Extension since 1987. His main research focuses on the history of Iran and surrounding countries. His publications include Iranian Politics and Religious Modernism and Distant Relations: Iran and Lebanon in the Last 500 Years. He has edited five books, most recently Irans Constitutional Revolution: Politics, Cultural Transformations, and Transnational Connections, and published numerous articles. He lives in Cambridge.
