Daphne Kalotay, PhD

Published in over twenty languages, Daphne Kalotays works include the bestselling novels Sight Reading and Russian Winter—winners of the 2014 New England Society Book Award and the 2011 Writers League of Texas Fiction Award, respectively—and the fiction collection Calamity and Other Stories, shortlisted for the Story Prize. Her new novel, Blue Hours, was released in 2019. Her short story "Relativity" was the 2017 One City One Story Boston selection, and her writing has received fellowships from the Christopher Isherwood Foundation, MacDowell, the Bogliasco Foundation, and Yaddo, among others.
