Daniel Epstein, PhD
Dan Epstein received his BA in Slavic studies from Harvard University and completed his PhD in the Harvard Department of Government, focusing on comparative politics of eastern Europe and Latin America. He served as Assistant Professor of Political Science at Colgate University for six years, during which time he won a Fulbright Teaching and Research Fellowship, which he completed in Bryansk, Russia. In 2015 he left Colgate to work as a staffer on a 2016 presidential campaign. He subsequently worked as an instructor and then director of online and regional site education at Texas Tech University in the department of political science. His research interests include political parties, elections, and national identity. He currently lives in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
