Chris Walsh, PhD

Director, College of Arts and Sciences Writing Program, Boston University
Christopher Walsh is associate director of the writing program at the College of Arts and Sciences, Boston University. He holds degrees in English and psychology from the University of Rochester, and in American studies from Boston University. A former Peace Corps volunteer in Gambia and Fulbright professor in Burkina Faso, Walsh has published in journals such as Agni, Civil War History, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Raritan, Salon, and the Yale Review. His book, Cowardice: A Brief History, was published in fall 2014 by Princeton University Press.
