Charles Freilich, PhD

Chuck Freilich is a senior fellow at the Belfer Center of the Harvard Kennedy School. Freilich's primary areas of expertise are the Middle East, US-Middle East policy, and Israeli national security policy. He has taught political science at Harvard, New York University, Columbia and Tel Aviv Universities. He has appeared as a commentator on TV and radio, including CNN, ABC, NPR, Al-Jazeera, and Israeli TV.

Freilich was a deputy national security advisor in Israel, a senior analyst at the Israel Ministry of Defense, policy advisor to a cabinet minister, and a delegate at the Israeli Mission to the United Nations.
