Get Involved with Your Student Community
The Harvard Extension Student Association offers a variety of events and clubs to help you connect with fellow students and develop in areas of interest. Student groups are a great way to build field-specific knowledge and make connections with students interested in similar topics. The student association offers the following opportunities.
Business Society
Interested in business, leadership, management, or finance? The Business Society organizes industry-related seminars, presentations, roundtable discussions, conferences, and networking events for members.
Service and Leadership Society
If you’re interested in the fields of leadership, negotiation, and public service, the Harvard Extension Service and Leadership Society can help you gain insight into these areas through volunteer projects, forums, seminars, and newsletters. The group hosts the annual Negotiation & Leadership Conference.
Environmental Club
Are you a student or alum of the Sustainability and Environmental Management Graduate Program? The Environmental Club works to connect you to the larger Harvard community through guest lectures, career network socials, field trips, site visits, and participation in Earth Day and the Charles River clean up efforts.
International Relations Club
The International Relations Club organizes conferences, panels, and talks on international relations and world diplomacy with some of the leading scholars, academics, and diplomats. These events provide club members, Harvard students, and the surrounding community the opportunity for education and discussion of contemporary topics in international relations.
Pre-Health Society
The Harvard Extension Pre-Health Society supports students in the Health Careers Program and in pre-health classes. It offers advising, events, and networking opportunities.
