Gain the skills to make a difference

Choose from 2 concentrations:

Ecosystems deals with stewardship of our natural assets and the transport, fate, and control of environmental contaminants. We look at impacts on social well-being and economic prosperity: locally and regionally. Studies might focus on wetland protection, air and water pollution, forest protection, hazardous waste, energy, or global climate change.

Sustainability means meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Specific areas include carbon and water markets; green buildings, design, and specifications; sustainable management systems; corporate social responsibility; waste and energy technologies; life cycle analysis; eco-tourism; non-mortorized transportation; and sustainable agriculture.
