Advanced statistics training can set you apart in data-rich fields like finance, healthcare, and marketing. Our Statistics Microcertificate will help you learn how to apply statistical analysis to evaluate real-world problems using basic descriptive measures of association, simple linear regressions, and ANOVAs.
Skills & Outcomes
After completing the Statistics Microcertificate, you will have the skills to:
- Perform statistical computing and data analysis, such as simple linear regression, logistic power analysis, ANOVA, and ANCOVA.
- Formulate strong hypotheses using quantitative reasoning and visualization.

Who Should Enroll

Starting and Completing a Microcertificate
To begin your microcertificate, you simply register for your first course for the microcertificate — no application required. Learn how to register.
To earn your microcertificate:
- Complete the two courses for graduate credit.
- Earn at least a B grade in each course.
- Complete the courses within two years.
Starting in the 2026-27 academic year, microcertificates must be completed within 2 years. We will accept one course from academic year 2025-26, however at least one class must be completed in Fall 2026 or later to qualify for this policy change.
