Amory Houghton Professor of the Practice of Ministry Studies, Harvard Divinity School
Stephanie Paulsell is the Houghton Professor of the Practice of Ministry Studies at Harvard Divinity School. She has a PhD in religion and literature from the University of Chicago and has taught at Valparaiso University, Catholic Theological Union, and the University of Chicago Divinity School. She focuses in her research and teaching on the interplay between religion and literature and the spiritual dimensions of intellectual practices. She is the author of Honoring the Body: Meditations on a Christian Practice and editor of The Scope of Our Art: The Vocation of the Theological Teacher. She is currently at work on a commentary on the Song of Songs.
