Richard Keith is the director of financial compliance at the Center for Health Care Financing at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Commonwealth Medicine. His department is responsible for ensuring that Medicaid payments to providers conform with state and federal regulations.
Keith has more than 30 years of teaching experience. He has taught undergraduate, graduate, and executive development courses in management and accounting at Brandeis University, Bentley University, Florida State University, and the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Before turning to teaching, Keith worked in the manufacturing industry serving in various managerial positions including materials, production, and engineering.
He is co-author of the text Accounting: A Management Perspective.
