Michael L. Oshins

Associate Professor of the Practice, School of Hospitality Administration, Boston University
Michael Oshins has been teaching at the Extension School for more than a decade. An associate professor at the Boston University School of Hospitality, Oshins has taught courses in leadership, services marketing, and leveraging hospitality technology. Prior to that, Oshins was vice president of Integer Dynamics, a hospitality consulting firm focused on operational productivity and quality improvement. He has published articles and reviews in the Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Quarterly and the Harvard Business Review. Oshins received his undergraduate degree in literature and rhetoric from Binghamton University, a graduate degree in hotel administration from Cornell University, and a doctorate in human resource education from Boston University. His thesis identified the competencies, skills, and attributes that distinguished great hotel managers from the merely good.
