Marya L. Dantzer has taught communicating and negotiating in a global context for 10 years and has taught at the undergraduate level at Bentley College. She holds a master of arts in intercultural relations, and is working on a PhD in Northeastern University's department of law, policy, and society. Dantzer has worked as a writing instructor and communication consultant for many years. Her current projects include developing an anthology for intercultural communication students and a book based on her theoretical and practical approaches to intercultural encounters. Dantzer's research focus is primarily qualitative and strongly interdisciplinary. In addition to her passion for teaching intercultural communication, she has particular interest in social welfare issues and gender dynamics in comparative perspective.
