Mark Passacantando is owner and founder of Financial Planning Partners, LLC, a comprehensive financial planning firm. Before founding the firm, Passacantando held officer and director positions with several institutional investment management firms in Boston. He has also worked for the Big Four accounting firms and has experience with banking, insurance, real estate, and financial services firms. Passacantando is also chief financial officer and principal with a business services firm; serves as an expert witness in state, federal, and district court; and performs arbitration, mediation, and 401k education for the clients of a major regional bank. In addition to teaching at Harvard Extension, he teaches at Boston University. Passacantando is on the editorial board of the Journal of Investment Compliance. He is a registered financial consultant. Passacantando was president (2007) and chairman (2008) of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts and chairman of the Alliance Forum (2008). In 2010, Passacantando joined the board of directors and the finance and investment committees of the United States Tennis Association.
