Hamza Abdurezak has been teaching investment management and corporate finance at the Extension School since 1999. Abdurezak is the founder and chief executive officer of Risknomics, Inc., a firm that specializes in portfolio and risk management consulting for institutional investors. He particularly enjoys teaching at the Extension School because of the diverse student body that the graduate program in management attracts from around the world. Abdurezak received a bachelor's degree in economics from Addis Ababa University, a master's degree from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a doctorate from Tufts University. His favorite sport is basketball and he is a loyal fan of the Boston Celtics.
