G. Timothy Bowman

Executive Dean for Administration, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University
G. Timothy Bowman is executive dean for administration at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University and teaches courses in strategic management and higher education management at the Extension School. He has held a variety of senior management positions and has done strategic consulting for institutions of higher education in the United States and the Middle East. He previously held the position of vice president of finance and administration at Chatham University, where as chief financial officer and chief operating officer he was responsible for campus master planning, enrollment management, human resources, facilities, security, and auxiliary services. He has also been the vice president of finance and administration at Neumann University, and assistant treasurer at Philadelphia University. Bowman also serves on the annual financial review committee and several accreditation teams for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the accreditation body for kindergarten through doctoral education in New England. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Elizabethtown College and his MBA with a concentration in finance from Philadelphia University.
