Francis Aguilar is a professor emeritus of business administration at Harvard Business School. He received a BEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1954, an MBA and DBA from Harvard, and an honorary doctorate of economic science from Janus Pannonius University. He has served as a member of the board of directors of several companies, including Dynamics Research Corporation, Bowater Incorporated, Burr-Brown Corporation, and Reichhold Chemicals Corporation. During his time at HBS, he served as chairman of the International Teachers Program, faculty chairman of the International Senior Managers Program, and as deputy director of the Central And Eastern European Teachers Program, as well as taking part in executive programs in the United States and abroad. His books include Managing Corporate Ethics: Learning from America's Ethical Companies How to Supercharge Business Performance and General Managers in Action.
