Ellen Harris has more than 20 years experience in training and development and coaching corporate and not-for-profit executives individually and working in teams. As the MBA learning team coach at Harvard Business School, she works with first-year students in their learning teams to examine the group process as well as coaching individuals to become aware of their personal strengths, contributions, and areas for development. At Outward Bound Professional she sells, designs, and delivers team building and leadership development programs in the United States and internationally for Fortune 500 companies and graduate schools of business.
Harris's prior experience was with Digital Equipment Corporation as a corporate trainer and instructional designer. Her first career was in advertising and marketing, which prompted her interest in career counseling, having made a switch herself. Her particular interests are in multilingual international teams and creative problem solving.
Harris received her master's degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and her bachelor's degree from Connecticut College.
