David Albert has been teaching artificial intelligence at Harvard Extension School since 1991. His research is in natural language processing, and he was an early pioneer in the field of multi-user educational virtual communities. More recently, he has been teaching computer programming to Cambridge elementary school students, with an emphasis on the simulation of artificial life using the StarLogo programming environment.
