If you are a candidate in a degree, certificate, or health careers program, Harvard Extension School provides a variety of financing options to help you cover your education expenses. As a US citizen or eligible noncitizen, you may apply for federal, state, and institutional aid.
The financial aid process: getting started
Follow these steps to begin the financial aid process:
- Determine if you are eligible to apply for financial aid.
- Understand the sources (federal, state, institutional, private) and types of funds available.
- Apply for aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid online.
- Note the financial aid priority deadlines.
You are encouraged to apply for financial aid during the term in which you are completing the third course required for admission to your intended program.
Financial aid advising
Financial aid advisors can help you understand and apply for different types of aid. They are available by appointment.
