The Harvard Extension School is one of 13 schools at Harvard University, and is a national leader in continuing education. Our working, adult students invigorate Harvard University with a diversity of life and work experience, as well as a commitment to excellence. They can do the same for your organization.

- Biotechnology: master’s degree

- Management: master’s degree and certificate
- Mathematics for Teaching: master’s degree

Our Students and Alumni
Our annual population of nearly 13,000 students is diverse. But, all students share a common goal: to challenge themselves and satisfy their intellectual curiosity.
Our alumni have gone on to attend prestigious graduate programs and become leaders in fields such as business, medicine, education, and law.
- Students range in age from early teens to 80s; average age is 33
- They come from 118 countries and 46 US states
- Seventy-five percent have bachelor’s degrees; 25 percent have graduate degrees
