Course Changes and Withdrawals
You may add courses or change credit status online or by submitting a paper request to the Registrar’s Office until late registration ends.
International students: If you have an I-20 issued by the Extension School, you may add courses online, but you may not withdraw or change credit status online; you must submit all course withdrawals, even those that are part of add/drop course changes, to the Registrar’s Office for approval.
If you wish to withdraw, refer to the schedule below for refund and course record information (deadlines differ if you are in courses offered by the Institute for English Language Programs; see the IEL calendar). If you are enrolled for credit in a course that you do not complete and you do not withdraw from the course by the final withdrawal deadline, you may be assigned a failing grade. Stopping payment on checks or credit cards is not a valid method of withdrawing from courses.
To change your schedule or withdraw, log in to your account in online services or download and submit the course change and withdrawal form.
