Changes to degree and certificate programs announced
NOTICE
April 2, 2009
Beginning with the new academic year, 2009–10, Harvard Extension School will be phasing out its graduate certificate programs and introducing new degree requirements for the master’s degree in management.
Certificate programs discontinued
Because these programs will be retired, students who have completed the prerequisite courses for admission to a certificate program (or will complete them this spring) should apply between April 15 and May 15. Any questions about admission should be directed to the admission advisor for the program.
Management degree requirement changes
New management degree requirements will be announced in eary June. The changes will not affect students who have already applied and been admitted to the program.
Students who have not yet applied but would like to be admitted under the current requirements should apply between April 15 and May 15. These students must have completed the courses required for admission or must complete them this spring.
Donna Clark, the admission advisor for the management program, can answer questions about admissions. E-mail her at clark@dcemail.harvard.edu.
There will also be adjustments to the admission criteria, including new prerequisite courses and an increase in the minimum grade-point average required.
