On behalf of the staff of the Institute for English Language Programs (IEL) at Harvard, I invite you to achieve your English language learning goals by enrolling in one of our courses.
In IEL, we pursue an approach to learning that is unique to Harvard, with students engaging in deep intellectual inquiry and undertaking responsibility for their own progress.
As director, I visit each IEL class and regularly observe students contributing to the education of their classmates while furthering their own academic interests, learning a great deal of English, and enjoying the challenges of their academic experience. Please join us this year and enhance your language skills in our distinctive and distinguished program.
