This course is an introduction to the study of human cognition. Topics include perception, attention, memory, categorization, language, and consciousness. We consider how human thought processes are organized, how they affect our everyday behavior, and the biological mechanisms that underlie them. The recorded lectures are from the Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences course Psychology 13. Prerequisite: introductory psychology. Students must view sample online lectures before they register.
