Special Options

Faculty Aide Program

You may become a research assistant to a faculty member if you have a 3.5 or higher GPA and have completed four courses at the Extension School. This program provides an opportunity to sharpen your research skills while supporting faculty in their research projects. You can earn $12 an hour for up to 50 hours. Special Studies in Education

You may apply for Special Studies status through the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), which enables you to enroll in courses for one semester at HGSE. To learn more and download an application, see the HGSE website’s Special Studies information. Meet with Stephen Blinn by July 15 for fall approval and November 15 for spring approval. The program is not obligated to accept courses that are not preapproved.
