How to Register
Also see When to Register.
Online registration. Online registration is the most efficient way to enroll in a course during the registration periods. The process is open to all students, including Harvard employees using the Tuition Assistance Plan (TAP) and Extension School program candidates who have financial aid. Call (617) 495-4024 for assistance.
Mail-in registration. Students who prefer to use paper registration forms may download* and submit them by mail during the registration periods. Forms may also be delivered to the first-floor Information Services lobby at 51 Brattle Street or dropped in the 24-hour registration box inside the gate at that address.
Tuition
Unlike many schools, the Extension School charges tuition per course, not per credit. Thus, the rates listed in each course description reflect the total tuition for the course. Registration requires full payment of the tuition and a nonrefundable $50 registration fee each term.
Registration is complete when a student’s information and full payment have been processed. The Extension School is not responsible for forms lost in transit. The Extension School may refuse registration to a student who has been required to withdraw from another Harvard school or course.
