Applying for Financial Aid
To be considered for financial aid for the 2005-2006 academic year students must:
- complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Federal Renewal Application electronically at the FAFSA website. In step six list Harvard Extension School, federal school code E00209.
- submit an Extension School general information form.
- submit signed copies of their 2004 federal income tax returns including all schedules and W-2 forms. If a student did not file and was not required to file a federal tax return he or she must submit a federal verification worksheet, which may be downloaded at the Federal Student Aid website.
The general information form and all income documentation should be submitted directly to the Financial Aid Office. Applications submitted after the July 1, 2005 priority deadline will be considered for Harvard Extension School Scholarships and other limited funds as they remain available.
Completed applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received. Students should allow four to six weeks for the processing of their applications.
A complete financial aid application allows the Extension School to determine a student's eligibility for federal, state, and institutional aid. For information on funds specific to a program please refer to Available Funds.
