Students in Institute for English Language (IEL) Programs, foreign language, and music courses that require language lab work may use the Harvard University Language Resource Center (LRC). Students must present LRC ID cards (or, if they are degree, certificate, or diploma candidates or Harvard employees, their Harvard University photo IDs) for access to the LRC. Students may get LRC ID cards at 51 Brattle Street. The LRC is open Monday through Thursday, 8 am-10 pm; Friday, 8 am-5 pm; Saturday, 1-5 pm; and Sunday, 2-10 pm, beginning September 20 in the fall and February 2 in the spring. School vacation and holiday hours are posted at a later date.
Certain language tapes are available for student purchase at the Harvard Coop or the Media Production Center, 59 Plympton Street, (617) 495-9440. The Media Production Center is open Monday through Friday, 9 am-5 pm.
