They also have access to electronic resources that are available on the Harvard Online Library Information System (HOLLIS).
Enrolled Extension School graduate-credit students who are not admitted candidates but who need borrowing privileges at Widener Library may purchase a special borrower's card for $100 per term from the privileges desk in Widener Library. Students must bring their Extension School registration confirmation and some form of photo ID when purchasing a borrower's card.
Phillips Reading Room. Enrolled Extension School students who are not degree, certificate, or diploma candidates may request an access card for Phillips Reading Room, Widener Library, by presenting their registration confirmation and some form of photo ID at the privileges desk. This card allows unlimited use of the Reading Room for one semester. Students do not have access to the stacks, but they can request that materials be paged to a desk in the Reading Room. Photocopying may be done with the permission of Reading Room staff.

At Countway Library in the Longwood Medical area there are no borrowing privileges. Students who are not candidates must present their registration confirmation and some form of photo ID at the privileges desk, where they are issued a pass valid for that semester.
