Academic and other resources are available to registered Extension School students, as described in this section. In addition, Harvard University offers a wealth of cultural resources and events that are open to the community, such as art and natural history museums; theater, lectures, and, concerts (see the Events Calendar in the Gazette for listings); and films. For more news and events also check the Extension School homepage, the Harvard University homepage, and the About Harvard page. The Harvard Summer School, Harvard Extension School Alumni Association (HEAA), and the Harvard Institute for Learning in Retirement (HILR) also sponsor lectures and events that are often open to the public. The Harvard Extension Student Association (HESA) sponsors social events open to all Extension School students. See individual listings for more information. Harvard Extension School students are also served by 36 chaplains, representing 26 of the world's religious traditions, through the United Ministries at Harvard.
