Capstone Course
After candidates in the information management systems concentration have completed at least nine ALM in IT courses, they enroll in CSCI E-273 or CSCI E-275 in lieu of a master's project. In both of these capstone courses, candidates participate in a collaborative effort in which they are expected to demonstrate technical depth, work within IT business constraints, and apply knowledge and methodologies from the course to build a comprehensive, cost-sensitive IT solution for an end-to-end business process. Candidates make a formal oral presentation of this work to an ALM in IT faculty committee.
