Administrative Board
The Administrative Board for University Extension meets monthly during the academic year to consider cases of academic dishonesty, misuse of computer facilities, and poor conduct, as well as cases of students who are inadequately prepared for their courses, neglect coursework, or fail to attend classes. The Board may, after considering the seriousness of a case, take any action it deems appropriate, including issuing a formal reprimand, placing the student on probation, revoking the student's right of access to University facilities or buildings, suspending the student's registration privileges, requiring the student to withdraw from one or more courses, or requiring the student to withdraw from the Extension School or from an Extension School degree, certificate, or diploma program for a period of no less than one term. Students who are required to withdraw from a course are not issued a tuition refund. In certain serious cases, the Board may recommend indefinite suspension.
