Liberal Arts Programs

Photo of Suzanne Spreadbury

Consistent with the Harvard College tradition, the Undergraduate Degree Program at the Harvard Extension School provides a classical liberal arts education. As an academic advisor, one of my greatest pleasures is watching students--whether they are 18 or 80--gain academic confidence and scholarly training by taking courses and earning a degree in our program.

The comprehensive liberal arts curriculum provides a solid foundation for a variety of academic and professional pursuits. You can broaden your understanding of a number of disciplines in the undergraduate program or specialize in a single concentration in the graduate program. Please note that though many courses are available via distance education liberal arts programs cannot be completed online.
