Programs Overview

If you are exploring graduate programs, contemplating finishing a bachelor's degree, or investigating routes to career advancement, you should consider the Harvard Extension School. Programs are designed to meet the needs of the adult student, balancing academic rigor with flexibility and value. You can be a professional by day and a scholar by night, earning your degree part time, at a pace that complements your busy lifestyle. You can also choose a yearlong program that builds on your professional skills or opt for a specialized master's degree in preparation for doctoral studies. Instructors from the Harvard University and Greater Boston communities bring scholarly expertise and real-world insight to the classroom while academic advisors help you achieve your academic goals. With a curriculum that is constantly evolving to meet the needs of working adults, the Extension School offers four new graduate degree concentrations in professional studies this year in addition to its traditional undergraduate and graduate degrees in liberal arts, specialized certificates, and diplomas.

You can choose from among 14 programs in either the liberal arts or professional studies track. To learn more about any of the programs, attend an information session.
