Important Notice. The Certificate in Museum Studies (CMS) Program is being changed to a Master's Degree (ALM) in Museum Studies effective September 1, 2004. In anticipation of this change, we are no longer admitting new CMS applicants. Information regarding admissions procedures and program requirements for the ALM in Museum Studies will be posted on the Harvard Extension School website in early August 2004. About the ProgramThe Certificate in Museum Studies (CMS) is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and competence to pursue professional careers in the field of museums. It is appropriate for students with some background in the field of museum studies who want to improve their skills through formal academic training, and for those with little or no experience who wish to acquire a background in the field. |
