Sisela Bok on "The Pursuits of Happiness," Part One

On October 14, 2003 Sisela Bok, ethicist and philospher, and senior visiting fellow at the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies, presented the annual Lowell Lecture on "The Pursuits of Happiness." See the lecture on video below in which she explores explores the study of happiness and of what adds to or detracts from it, as described by poets, philosophers, social theorists, and increasingly in recent decades psychologists, economists, and neuroscientists.
